Drunk Driver Who Caused Auto Accident Is Convicted

The drunk driver, who killed an innocent young man and seriously injured his brother, pled guilty in the Clackamas County Courthouse on Tuesday August 8, 2006. The drunk driver caused an automobile accident in Lake ONWego, Oregon on December 21, 2004. The drunk driver was from Lake ONWego, Oregon and was sentenced to 60 months in jail under a plea agreement. The parents of the boys hope the drunk driver sees this as an opportunity to change her life and to help educate others and prevent the needless death or injury of others by drunk or impaired drivers.
