Katie Morris Went Big

I met Katie Morris after she was injured when she was eight years old. She was full of life. She loved sports. One of her favorite sport sayings was "Go Big or Go Home!" Katie always chose to go BIG.

Shortly after Thanksgiving 2005, Katie was diagnosed with a very rare brain tumor. Katie lost her fight April 25, 2007 a few days after turning 13.

Katie was featured on ESPN as part of her Make a Wish Foundation dream. Katie wanted her Make a Wish dream to include her entire baseball team (Katie was the only girl on the team). Through Make a Wish, Katie and her team were able to meet the Mariners, attend a game, run the bases and have a wonderful time.
